This is a very neat idea! I cleaned up the dates for WW's use and please if anyone has a conflict with dates posted just give a call and things can be figured out---
We had hoped to complete the final details (as in 'the devil is in the details' and it is devilish doing the little things) this past weekend but will go into next weekend too. And there still will be a punch list of a few things left on a list at the cabin. Don't be shy about tackling anything left to do...It seems fitting that things will be wrapping up just about on the date of the one-year anniversary of Gram's passing.
Things to keep in mind:
either bring own sheets - full and twin/trundle - or clean the sheets that are there after and replace that day or next for next guy; towels as well;
do own general cleaning or get cleaning person in;
bring own ice & charcoal & bottled water if you don't want to chance it with the lake water; replace anything that runs out;
there are basic condiments, mayo, mustard, ketchup, s & p, coffee filters, garbage bags, grill;
there are dishes and silverware but bring own paper products if you want;
canoe there but not many life vests;
Word is out that the cabin might be an easy rental but W. hasn't responded to anyone as yet.
Woody's goal is for the brothers and their families to take the dates each wants and then if there is room, renters to be determined. And we've offered Rita one week sometime, after family dates, in barter for at least 30 or more hours she has donated to the project. Jean would like to try and take a day here or there, after family signs up, to use during recuperation and/or when Liz is here.
It's been a long spring and hard work but worth the effort. I'm hoping good times
and many memories are had at the cabin for you and your kids!!! Safety too!!!
